추석
Chuseok is a korean fall festival that celebrates the fall harvest and honors ancestors. Growing up in Hawaii, the only indication that fall had come was when a box of yakgwas 약과 were brought home. This collection is a homage to my favorite season and my childhood in the eyes as the eldest sister.

Usually the foot of a teacup is not the main star of the show. The yakgwa tea cups reveal a surprise when flipped over. Each porcelain ceramic piece took 2 hours to hand carve, giving each piece a unique character.
